Shuttle and Olympic have consolidated operations. We look forward to
continuing the excellent service that you have come to enjoy.
State Shuttle a "much-respected
carrier,'' (Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico) was asked by the
Port Authority to acquire the historical Olympic routes. Olympic
became a member of the State Shuttle family on August 13, 2009.
We are operating the shuttle
service with business as usual. Olympic State Shuttle will continue
to operate 20 trips a day from the Jersey Shore to Newark and John
F. Kennedy International airports. Our shuttles will stop in Toms
River, Wall, Lincroft and Keyport. We are proud to announce that the
affordable and reasonable rates ranging from $24 to $38 (one way)
will be maintained. The 11 major hotels along the Princeton-Route 1
corridor, with hourly service to both Newark and Kennedy airports
and extended hourly service between Newark and JFK for travelers switching
airports also are continued. LaGuardia is serviced on a reservation
basis.
With our fleet of more than 200
vehicles, Olympic State Shuttle offers shared-ride services
providing door-to-door service as well as park-and-ride service from
local hotels.
Additionally we offer private car and limousine service, 25 and 32-seat buses and
11-seat vans servicing transportation needs for the entire state of
New Jersey and Philadelphia.
By combining Olympics’ resources
with State Shuttle we can control expenses allowing us to maintain
our rates. We feel we can be very successful that way and continue
to service you – our valued customers.
State Shuttle is owned and operated
out of Lake Hopatcong NJ by the Hurley Family. The Hurley’s have
been in the livery business since 1918 and trace their roots back to
their grandfather who ran transportation services with horse drawn
carriages. In 1989 the family launched the airport shuttle service
to enhance their limousine business primarily serving North and
Central New Jersey.
